The University at Buffalo's Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic, part of the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences, provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for individuals across the lifespan experiencing speech, language, voice, swallowing, hearing, and balance challenges. Located in the Biomedical Education Building on UB's South Campus, the clinic is staffed by licensed and certified professionals who supervise graduate student clinicians, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care. The clinic offers a range of specialty programs, including services for childhood apraxia of speech, augmentative and alternative communication, stuttering, cognitive rehabilitation, and transgender voice modification. Notably, it houses New York State's only SPEAK OUT!® Therapy & Research Center, providing free speech and voice therapy for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Beyond patient care, the clinic serves as a vital training ground for UB's speech-language pathology and audiology students, integrating clinical education with research to prepare future clinician-scientists.
