FeedMore WNY is a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and providing support to individuals of all ages across Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties in Western New York. Formed in 2019 through the merger of the Food Bank of WNY and Meals on Wheels for WNY, the organization combines decades of experience to offer comprehensive hunger-relief services. Its mission is to offer dignity, hope, and a brighter future by providing nutritious food, friendship, and skills training to neighbors in need. In 2024, FeedMore WNY assisted over 165,700 individuals experiencing food insecurity—a nearly 16% increase from the previous year. The organization distributed more than 15.8 million pounds of nutritious and shelf-stable foods through its food bank program and delivered nearly 1.5 million meals via its prepared meals program. Beyond food distribution, FeedMore WNY addresses the root causes of food insecurity through initiatives like the Food Farmacy, nutrition education classes, and the RISE workforce development program. As a member of Feeding America and Meals on Wheels America, FeedMore WNY maintains strong national affiliations while focusing on local needs. The organization is currently undertaking a significant expansion project, constructing a 197,700 square-foot facility on a 74-acre site in the Town of Hamburg to centralize operations and better serve the community amid rising food insecurity. FeedMore WNY's commitment to transparency and effective service delivery is reflected in its consistent four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest possible score awarded by the nation's largest independent charity evaluator.
